EU’s Immigration Policy and EU-Turkey Relation

Abstract
In this paper, before specially focusing on Turkey’s current condition regarding illegal immigration, Turkey’s relationship with the EU will be scrutinized and Turkey’s policies of struggle against the illegal immigration and their enactment in regard to the EU accordance policies will be mentioned. I will discuss Turkey’s illegal immigration issue within the context of its relations with the EU. As mentioned in the previous chapter, the European Union looks at illegal immigration phenomenon through security perspective. Moreover, even at the accepted the Hague program, struggle against the illegal immigration seen as matter of international security problem.1 In this respect, it is important to assess the European Union–Turkey relationships in regard to global security line.
