Par Adolphe Blé KESSE

Abstract
This article is about the presidential election on October 25, 2015 in Côte d’Ivoire. It tries to understand three realities that marked this election: the low participation rate in the south of the country, the massive vote in favor of the outgoing President Alassane Ouattara, and the acceptance of the results by the candidate of the Ivorian Popular Front (FPI) AffiN'Guessan despite proven irregularities. The article fits into the approach of "historical trauma" revalued, is based on the official figures of the election results and investigation data to show that the 2015 presidential election was marked by the weight of the post-electoral crisis that Côte d’Ivoire has experienced in 2010/2011, mobilizing an electoral behavior of resignation of people in the South of and the opposition FPI.
