The Intellectual Evolution of Humans: An Anthropological Exploration
Katsuhiko Someya

Abstract
This study examined the intellectual evolution of humans. Anthropological studies are conventionally conducted by focusing on fossilized human remains and tools, but these types of materials have not enabled researchers to learn about the intellectual side of past human development. This study considers the origin of language, which has not been addressed, and it aims to thereby understand humans’ past intellectual evolution. The study includes a discussion of methods and results.
