Promotion of Social Science Research and Training Programs in India

Abstract
Research is very much important for expanding our knowledge and to invent new products, processes and technologies for the betterment of human being. All over the world research is being promoted and in India Government is paying very special attention on this aspect. Government of India is promoting social science research and training activities by providing funding to the Universities, research institutes and industries as well. This review highlights the efforts in promoting social science research programs in India through various funding agencies.
